Conventional Heavy Duty Door Retainer (Mains) – MDR240
Cooper MDR240 Conventional 240V DC Heavy Duty Door Retainer
This range of Menvier heavy duty magnetic door retainers are robust and simple to install, making them ideal for a wide range of applications, such as nursing homes, hospitals, schools and industrial premises.
Two versions are available, the mains powered MDR240 which has a holding force of 40kg and the MDR24L 24V dc powered also with a holding force of 40kg Both versions enable doors to be held open under normal conditions but to be automatically released in the event of fire alarm activation.
Their die cast aluminium construction with plastic front cover plate make them suitable for most applications. Both versions are supplied with door mounted striker plates and can be fixed directly to a suitable wall, alternatively a floor bracket can be used to allow floor mounting.
An override switch is fitted as standard to enable door to be manually released as required.
