Conventional Detector Relay Base – FXN520R
The FXN520R conventional relay base has been specifically designed to be compatible with the JSB range of conventional detectors.
This relay base as been designed for flexibility, simplicity and speed of installation.
It provides a local relay signal in the event of its host detector being triggered, making it ideal for instigating a local response.
Conventional Flush Sounder (Red Plastic) – FX003
Two versions of the conventional flush sounders are available in this range, the red FX003 and the white FX003W. Both the FX003 and the FX003W are compatible with the Eaton range of conventional fire systems. These conventional flush sounders provide an excellent combination of high sound output and discreet appearance. Ideal for retail, hotel and residential applications such as sheltered housing

Two versions of the conventional flush sounders are available in this range, the red FX003 and the white FX003W. Conventional Heat Sensor (Fixed Heat, 77°C) – EFXN524
EFXN524 Conventional Heat Detector JSB
The JSB range of conventional detectors have been specifically designed to operate with JSB control panels. The JSB optical detector FXN533 is suitable for most applications giving the fastest response to slow burning or smouldering fires which give rise to large visible smoke particles. The JSB photo-thermal detector FXN632 will respond quickly to fast clean burning fires yet maintain the advantage of optical detectors when detecting smouldering fires. The thermal enhancement of this detector allows a higher alarm threshold which provides a greater rejection of false alarms. The detector will also raise an alarm at temperatures exceeding 60ºC.
The JSB fixed heat detectors FXN524 and FXN526 will detect temperatures above 77ºC and 92ºC. The rate of rise heat detector FXN525 is used to detect rapid increases in temperature with a maximum threshold of 60ºC. These detectors are designed to be used in environments where the ambient conditions might cause false alarms if smoke detection were to be used, for example where there is a high level of dust, fumes, steam or smoke under normal conditions

Eaton has a large range of detectors for conventional fire alarm systems designed to meet the demands of nearly any application. In the range, there are two main options either the flexible, easily switchable 5 in 1 detector that brings together all the detection mode or the straightforward single detection mode range. Both options include optical, photo-thermal and heat modes.
The most popular is the optical detector mode which is suitable for most commercial building application, giving the fastest response to slow burning or smouldering fires which give rise to large visible smoke particles.
The photo-thermal detector type responds quickly to fast, clean burning fires. They maintain an advantage over optical sensors when detecting smouldering fires which give rise to large visible smoke particles. Conventional Heavy Duty Door Retainer (24V DC) – MDR24L
This range of Menvier heavy duty magnetic door retainers are robust and simple to install, making them ideal for a wide range of applications, such as nursing homes, hospitals, schools and industrial premises.
Two versions are available, the mains powered MDR240 which has a holding force of 40kg and the MDR24L 24V dc powered also with a holding force of 40kg Both versions enable doors to be held open under normal conditions but to be automatically released in the event of fire alarm activation.
Their die cast aluminium construction with plastic front cover plate make them suitable for most applications. Both versions are supplied with door mounted striker plates and can be fixed directly to a suitable wall, alternatively a floor bracket can be used to allow floor mounting.
An override switch is fitted as standard to enable door to be manually released as required.

The Eaton range of heavy duty, magnetic door retainers, for conventional fire systems, are robust and simple to install, making them ideal for a wide range of applications, such as nursing homes, hospitals, schools and industrial premises.
Two versions are available: mains powered, which has a holding force of 40Kg and the 24Vdc option powered by an external power supply also with a holding force of 40Kg.
Both versions enable doors to be held open under normal conditions but to be automatically released in the event of fire alarm activation when interfaced with the fire panel.

Cooper MAR724 Heavy Duty Conventional Relay
The heavy duty relay unit (MAR724) is designed for interfacing heavy loads such as door release units or plant shut down equipment with fire alarm systems.
This unit is simple to fix and install and the neat unobtrusive design makes it suitable for use in a wide range of areas.
The heavy duty relay unit is powered by 24V dc external supply and is provided with 2 separate sets of changeover contacts. The front mounted status LED illuminates when relay is energized.
